AHA: Patients Suffering STEMI Fare Better with Ticagrelor Therapy (CME/CE)

ORLANDO (MedPage Today) Researchers said that when the investigational platelet aggregation inhibitor ticagrelor was administered to patients with high-risk acute coronary syndromes the outcomes appeared better than treatment with clopidogrel (Plavix) a finding that mirrored results on the larger, previously reported study.
