FDA Panel Backs Statin for Primary Prevention
WASHINGTON (MedPage Today) — An FDA advisory panel has overwhelminingly recommended that rousuvastatin (Crestor) be approved use in patients with no history of heart disease as long as the patients have an elevated level of the inflammatory marker C-reactive protein.
