Intravitreal Steroids Show Benefit in Diabetic Retinopathy (CME/CE)
Intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide reduced progression of diabetic retinopathy to a greater degree than laser photocoagulation, but the risks of cataract and glaucoma with steroids still outweigh the benefits, researchers reported.
