Meta-Analysis Finds Early Signs of Rofecoxib CV Risk

The rofecoxib (Vioxx) saga continues with the publication today of a meta-analysis suggesting that the drug’s maker, Merck, had evidence of a link to increased risk of heart attack and stroke more than three years before the company pulled the drug from the market.
