Scientists stated that the grass allergy season went on for more than eight weeks which means the allergy season got extended by three weeks.
Usually, pollen counts are high between the begin of June and the middle of July.This year, it has been different as they rose much earlier and stayed high for longer.
This means at least 25% of hay fever sufferers will be affected until the autumn.
